2008 AAS Winner Viola Skippy XL Plum-Gold F1
Second AAS winner for the Skippy XL
Series. After Red-Gold in 2006 is it now Plum-Gold to get this award for 2008
. Skippy XL Plum-Gold has a golden face, black whiskers and shades of plum surrounding the face.  As a Cool Season Bedding Plant winner, it was tested in Southern locations during winter. Judges found it to be packed with flowers, as did judges in Northern locations. Skippy XL Plum-Gold was tolerant of summer heat conditions into August. Mature plants spread 6-8 inches. Retail tip: Recommended for 3- to 4-inch pots or combination planters with bulbs or annuals. |
