We never, ever, underestimate the job of nurturing nature. Naturally, our people“indoors” provide our greenhouse staff (and our customers!) with carefully developed, produced, enhanced, prepared and stored seeds. But even then it is not easy being green, as every grower will agree.

Nevertheless our greenhouse staff does a beautiful job. For example: seeing is believing. So every year they make sure that during our Pack Trials, visitors can see almost all our breeding varieties fully grown and in full bloom. Then and there they create the living proof that seeds from Kieft provide you with a flowering future.

And there is more. They play honeybee for thousands of plants,
pollinating according to strict protocol of our breeders. They tenderly tend the comparison trials, to enable our marketing managers to compare results. They take care of over 8 hectare outdoor area and 1,5 hectare of greenhouse. And believe us: that is a lot of work and watering...

Secretly we envy them a little. Because these colleagues may very well have the most rewarding job in our company. For them ‘booming business’ is literally the equivalent of ‘blooming business’...
